Mahogany & Inlaid Coffee Table made from a Pullman Coach Panel

An Interesting Coffee Table made from a Quarter-veneered Mahogany Panel beautifully inlaid with boxwood, from one of the luxury Pullman Coaches of the late 19th/Early 20th Centuries, later mounted on a modern base.  The base could be unscrewed if desired, for the panel to be displayed on the wall.  As we found this in Devon, it is possible that the panel came from the Devon Belle which used to run between London Waterloo and Ilfracombe and Plymouth from 1947 - 1954
