Charles I Oak Table Desk

Mid 17th Century Oak Table Desk of rare quality, the front carved with addorsed dragons and initials A W, the interior with 3 drawers.  Retaining the original hinges and lockplate. Charles I period, probably Wales or Borders, circa 1625-50.  Table Desks such as these are often erroneously described as Bible Boxes.
