Early Georgian Oak Side Table

A Good Geo I-II Oak Side Table of fine figure and colour, with lovely bookmatched top, raised on square chamfer legs tied with stretchers, the side rails shaped, and the drawer with engraved brass handle, iron lock and key.  Circa 1725-30.  This is an interesting example of a transitional style bridging the earlier Queen Anne turned leg and stretchered tables and the later Georgian square chamfer leg style without stretchers
