Fine & Rare French Bureau de Dame

A Fine & Rare French Bureau de Dame attributed to Georges François ALIX [active 1870-1906], made of Tulipwood and Acajou (a type of mahogany used by cabinet makers in France), circa 1880.  The overall design, with its sinuous curves and a central timepiece, derives from desks of the Louis XV period, circa 1750.
