Geo III Mahogany Demi Lune Console or Tea Table

Geo III Mahogany Demi Lune Table of fine figure & colour, with double gate action, the understated quality expressed in the neatest of hinge mechanisms (see photo no 5) and fine moulding. This table is a very good example of its kind and the photographs I hope speak for themselves in showing the beautiful figuring, colour, detail and quality.  In its half-moon form it would make a lovely Hall Table or a Side Table for the drawing room, and when opened out would also be a useful Tea Table.  Circa 1780
