Geo IV Mahogany Open Bookcase of fine figure & colour

Geo IV Mahogany Open Bookcase of elegant form, fine figure and colour, with 2 solid mahogany adjustable shelves and solid mahogany back, a mark of quality.  Note: old shrinkage crack to latter (invisible when filled with books, see photo no.4) but otherwise in excellent condition and with a good top overhang for skirting.  Circa 1830.  It is increasingly difficult to find period mahogany bookcases of this size, and this one is as fine an example as we have handled in some years.
