Regency Giltwood and Ebonised Overmantel Mirror
A Gorgeous Regency Giltwood & Ebonised Overmantel Mirror with original plate, centred with a scallop shell, with rosettes in each of the top corners. The scallop shell was thought to be a symbol of fertility, so in combination with the floral detail it would seem likely that this was made for a wedding gift in the Regency period.
